These annular or ring beads are usually associated with Celtic people on the continent and in Britain. I have always thought they were very attractive and well made—and the patina they show is often remarkable. They are rather rare beads that one doesn't come across often. The only ones I know of in private hands belong to my friend Roberet Liu, and can be seen in his book Collectible Beads. Some European museums have them—including the British Museum in London.
