Original Message:   Indinetian! Supporting circumstance...
Thanks, Giorgio! I didn't became aware of India-made chevron-types until the late 1990s, maybe year 2000. I wanted to have a number of examples, so bought a small lot from Fire Mountain, maybe 4 ounces. These are what I kept. The red-white-blue rosetta slices that you see in the picture with the rest of the obviously Indian beads were indeed in that lot! All 5 slices are from slumped cane and have worm holes. Not having any idea that they (in India) had gotten hold of Conterie cane, I was mystified, and finally you shed light on that for me. Thank you! (My label on the baggie of the slices: "India per Fire Mtn...???!")
