Original Message:   Aja is the common trade spelling, but,
years ago a Yoruba person contacted me and informed me that it is actually spelled Eja, and means fish eye. When I asked Alaji Juwara, whose wife is indeed Yoruba, he confirmed that yes, it does mean fish eye, but he could not confirm spelling one way or the other.

They are hard to find in quantity and not always available.
