I sometimes think back to my flea market days 20 years ago. I was trying to sell a really NEAT old stapler.....the only metal parts were the hinge and what actually squashed the staple. I even had it loaded with staples, paper next to it so folks could see that it actually worked. The rest of the stapler was GENUINE wood, in very nice vintage condition.

I had it priced at a whole $8.00. I drug it out to numerous flea markets. I had just met David, and his advice was that I was too cheap. So, with ink that didn't even match the original price tag, I put a one in front of the 8. It was now $18.00 and the next guy to pick it up bought it. The eighteen bucks paid for the booth fee at the flea in those days.

Now, it would retail for more than $80.00 and I wish I'd kept it.

Sorry about the rant.
