...I do like how they compliment the blue sapphire here. Not my photo, not my necklace. I think that the cobalt seven layers can be masculine, yet the size perhaps feminine, which I'm guessing maybe is what you were attempting to do, soften their masculinity. And, I'm not at all saying that they can't work in feminine pieces, as I know they do. But, I think the stronger color of the pink tourmaline is perhaps a better complement and then being faceted as well, imitating the chevons. Just my random thoughts.
