Wow Joyce, very nice knotting, I'm jealous! My daughter can hand-knot like that, but I haven't developed the patience or skill yet, it is on my to-do list. I would call the strand style a sautoir, the definition of which is: a ribbon, chain, scarf, or the like, tied around the neck in such a manner that the ends cross over each other. It also could be called a 'flapper necklace', being a good length and of the 1920s - 30s era. Love the color, very striking.
