I went on a buying kick, purchasing several strands of the long (20mm or thereabouts) Venetian red whiteheart tube beads. I bought 2 strands from a vendor online that were different than the others. They were strung on raffia, but were longer (about 30mm), thicker, solid color throughout, smooth rounded (rather than cut-looking) ends. I THINK she said they were Venetian.
They're simple and pretty, but I've never seen anything like them. I'm guessing they're Czech, but wondered if anyone knew more about them? Both the white-hearts and the solid tubes are shown below.
