Original Message:   pink trailed glass beads with unusual findings
I began bead collecting in earnest during an era when beads were very trendy and the color pink was very popular. Pink beads were scarce everywhere, or so said my friend who sold bead earrings at art fairs. I had difficulty finding pink beads at bead stores, and my seed bead orders for French Pink were on backorder for months. Rumors circulated the factory in France making gold-pink glass beads was shutting down.

As a reaction, my current collection contains many pink beads. What was once unavailable is now easier to find in the pre-owned marketplace. I love pink beads. Very odd, because I don't wear pink. It's about perceived scarcity I believe.

Anyway, a newer love is for shaped and 'carved' beads. I bought this necklace thinking the pinks were molded into flower shapes. Surprise, surprise, happy surprise!... they are lampworked beads with trailed (drizzled) decoration raised above the surface.

I don't recognize the clasp (plated) or the larger gold color beads, never seen either before. Can anyone provide an ID on the glass beads?
