Original Message:   Green millefiori rounds... antique Chinese?

Are these the old Chinese millefiori I've seen shared by Frederick? It is not on original stringing, just some thin monofilament, with seed beads instead of knots. Thanks to BCN, I recognized them at a thrift store yesterday. 11-12mm diameter. Does green signify anything special in Chinese culture? My flights of fancy see dragons and dragon eyes in the designs.
