Original Message:   Two spindle whorls
Hi & welcome to the forum!

Two of these indicated by arrows are spindle whorls made of steatite - also called black pipestone or soapstone. Generally thought to be from the pre-Islamic Persian empire, also called the Sassanid Empire, about AD 224 - 651. So over 1000 years old and makes perfect sense that they were found in Iran.

There are many ancient stone & glass bead experts that read this forum, so I hope you hear about the rest!

Nice strand!
