Hi Mary, The necklace is newly made, probably from India or Nepal (though we sometimes see similar components from Afghanistan). We can tell it's a new necklace because of things like the Turquoise pendant, which has block turquoise insets, and the amber beads, which are also new. Very pretty necklace, but not old.
