Although John will open the cases for closer inspection. Unlike the displays in other museums, these display cases are set at the perfect level for close inspection, and the lighting is excellent. By comparison, I found the displays at the now-defunct bead museum in Arizona to be very frustrating. There was a lot of glare from the lights, some of the lighting was very poor, and the beads were too far from the front of the case to be able to see the details in some cases.

Not so with the Picard's displays. A great deal of thought went into creating the exhibit space. It is bead heaven for sure!
