Original Message:   Paris fleamarket intermezzo 'les puces'
This is an addendum to a previous fleamarket report by Floor in 2011 : http://beadcollector.net/cgi-bin/anyboard.cgi?fvp=/openforum/&cmd=iYz&aK=76404&iZz=76404&gV=0&kQz=&aO=1&iWz=0

I just want to add some practical info. Last time I was there was about 30 years ago and this time I missed a bit the non-organized 'bordel' it used to be. Having said that I went on a rainy sunday, so choose a sunny friday and you might still feel the hustle and bustle.(the market is only fri-sat-sun)

The Paris fleamarket , technically in St-OUEN ( 'les puces') can be reached by the métro line 4 direction of 'Porte de Clignancourt', where you have to get off and which is the end station . From there on you will see the signs; It is a 5 minute walk but along the way you'll already see clothes stalls which are not part of the 'puces ' yet. Once under the bridge of the "Périférique"(the ring around Paris)you will find on your left different entrances to the 'puces'. The 'puces' consists of several markets, see map below. To have an idea of which markets offer which merchandise you can check out the website of the tourist office (see link below). The map below gives you the situation of the different markets
